| TEAM Esteem is an equine education program providing youth and adolescent experiences that foster team work, leadership skills and communication, located at Horse of the Sun Equestrian Club, a 12 minute drive east of Alpine in Pine Valley. Students are encouraged to take chances in our safely designed environment, to be creative and explore new options of perception of behavior. Added Benefits to the programs are: • Students will have the opportunity to earn ride a longs with local vets, Farriers, Saddle Makers, etc. • Always wonder what it would be like to be a “knight in shining armor”? Sign up now for Knight School and Junior Jousting. • Participate in the “the creation of building the organic gardening” program, or “creative writing classes in our blue-sky classroom”. • Experiment in a wide variety of mounted horseback riding games. • Join in on the fun at our community expeditions at Del Mar Fair, Del Mar Polo Grounds, Local Horse Shows and Rodeos! • Also offered are the After school programs, private and group lessons, trail riding clubs, the list goes on. Fun for the entire family! • Besides the horseback riding, Horse of the Sun is also offering archery classes, nature hikes, social gatherings and BBQ’s to encourage whole family involvement. |
